February, 2, 2012, Senate Committee on Indian Affairs Legislative Hearing on Pending Bills

The Senate Committee on Indian Affairs has scheduled a legislative hearing on a variety of bills affecting tribal interests. The hearing is scheduled to take place on Thursday, February 2nd, at 2:15 p.m. EST in Room 628 of the Dirksen Senate Office Building in Washington, D.C. and will address the following bills:

• S. 1739, A bill to provide for the use and distribution of judgment funds awarded to the Minnesota Chippewa Tribe by the United States Court of Federal Claims in Docket Numbers 19 and 188, and for other purposes;
• S. 356, A bill to amend the Grand Ronde Reservation Act to make technical corrections, and for other purposes; and
• S. 908, A bill to provide for the addition of certain real property to the reservation of the Siletz Tribe in the State of Oregon.
